ONE WORKFLOW FOR YOUR TEAM
Follow up on estimate enquiries while your team works
Effatum helps home-service businesses respond to existing enquiries, qualify the job, and arrange the next conversation. We configure the assistant around your services, service area, calling hours, and handoff rules. Calendar and CRM connections are reviewed for your workflow before launch.
For plumbing, HVAC, remodeling, and other home-service teams, start with a personalized demo and a scoped pilot proposal.
See your enquiry workflowWhat happens after an estimate enquiry?
- Receive the enquiry. Agree which existing enquiry source starts the workflow.
- Check when contact is appropriate. Define permission, calling hours, time zone, and stop-contact rules.
- Qualify the job. Ask the questions you approve, such as service type, location, and the next useful detail.
- Arrange the next step. Offer an appointment only through a connection and booking process tested for that workflow; otherwise hand the request to your team.
- Give a person the context. Agree how the job details, unanswered questions, and follow-up request reach your team.
Illustrative estimate enquiry: A homeowner asks about a bathroom remodel. The assistant confirms the service area and project type, then asks whether they want to discuss an estimate. The agreed next step depends on the team's tested scheduling setup.
This is a fictional workflow example. It is not a customer result or a record of a booked job.
Which jobs should the assistant handle?
| Enquiry | Rule to agree before launch |
|---|---|
| Routine estimate | Service-area and job qualification, then a tested booking step or human follow-up. |
| Outside your service area | Explain the service boundary and use your approved handoff or decline wording. |
| Urgent situation | Use an explicit human escalation rule. An estimate workflow must not imply emergency dispatch. |
| Rescheduling | Confirm which appointments can be changed and which require a person. |
| Request to stop contact | Stop the conversation and apply the agreed suppression process. |
What connects to your existing tools?
Effatum's own sales-demo scheduling uses its connected Google Calendar. A customer's calendar or CRM requires a separate review and workflow test. Tell us the tools you use; the proposal will identify each connection as tested, included in scope, or unavailable.
Requesting an Effatum demo does not establish compatibility with your business's scheduling or dispatch system.
What determines a paid pilot quote?
Pricing follows the agreed workflow. Ask for a proposal that separates these items before you decide:
- Setup and the first workflow.
- Included calling minutes, usage limits, and any overage rate.
- Calendar or CRM connections and the tests required.
- Human handoff, support, and reporting.
- Ongoing charges, renewal, cancellation, and applicable service terms.
A demo enquiry carries no purchase commitment. Review the proposed service scope and terms before starting a paid pilot.
Which kind of answering workflow fits your team?
| Option | Use it when | Check before choosing |
|---|---|---|
| Voicemail | Your team can return enquiries itself. | Who follows up, and within what working hours. |
| Human answering service | You want a person to take the initial conversation. | Coverage, handoff, booking scope, and price. |
| Configured AI follow-up | You have a defined enquiry workflow and qualification rules. | Contact permission, integrations, exceptions, and usage charges. |
| Integrated receptionist or dispatch system | You need broader front-desk or dispatch operations. | Which operations and systems are supported and tested. |
Effatum scopes one workflow with you. Discuss broader receptionist or dispatch needs before assuming they are included.
